Start with the work you need to make clearer.

A role is a useful starting point, but the decision rests on actual workflows, dependencies, and scale. Choose the guide closest to your operating context.

Use the same questions across roles

An owner may need a clearer account review, a bookkeeper may need a traceable billing document, and a portfolio operator may need consistent company-scoped work. Each should still check the underlying workflow and the package boundary. A role label does not imply a separate vertical product or a guaranteed operating outcome.

  • Which customer, document, or receivables question must the software help you review?
  • How many people and companies require access?
  • Which migration, integration, security, or support requirement could stop adoption?

Separate fit from future interest

Do not base a day-one requirement on planned bank connections, migration in development, or limited-availability AI-assisted work. Essential payroll, tax filing, consolidation, or enterprise ERP requirements call for another current solution.
